Points or cash?
How it works
Compare the same flight, cabin and passengers. Include all taxes and fees.
Value per point = (cash price − cash due) ÷ points × 100.
We compare cash due plus the value of your points against paying cash. Cash wins ties. The selected payment type is compared with cash.
Your point value ¢ each
Great ≥125%, good ≥100%, fair ≥85% of your point value. Below that: keep your points.
Defaults: NerdWallet, September 2026. Estimates you can adjust.
For Amex, enter the Membership Rewards points actually spent and include transfer fees. Transfer terms.
Switch between Miles and Money + miles above. Only the selected quote is compared; your other entries are kept while you switch.
No live prices or booking. Earned rewards, status, cancellation rules and balances aren’t included. Entries stay in this tab and reset on refresh. Airline names identify programs; this site is independent.
